Evidence-led consultancy handover
Leave a UI handover the client team can evaluate
Give the receiving team usable evidence while keeping recommendations and accepted implementation scope distinct.

A more usable client backlog
Classified recommendations
Keep confirmed concerns separate from proposals and questions that still require client decisions.
Locatable evidence
Name the build and conditions so the handover remains understandable after the consultancy presentation ends.
Explicit next ownership
Document acceptance and follow-up in the engagement record rather than assuming export transfers responsibility.
Classify the handover items
A consultancy handover can combine confirmed defects, design recommendations, and unanswered implementation questions. Label those distinctions before presenting the work as a backlog. Identify the reviewed build and explain the scope of the engagement. A list of observations should not imply that the client has approved every recommendation or that your team has verified every underlying system.
Capture evidence the receiving team can locate
Use supported screenshots and recordings of the implemented journey with safe representative data. For an account transfer flow, show the selected account, confirmation, and resulting state. Review Retick's candidate findings and add the relevant environment, role, and setup manually. Keep technical cause as a hypothesis unless independent investigation supports it. The client should be able to distinguish evidence from interpretation without attending your final presentation.
Define an acceptance boundary for approved work
An unclear transfer confirmation might need an agreed account label and a clear next action. A proposal for a new transfer approval process is separate work. Have the responsible owner approve the outcome, then export selected findings to an authorized Trello destination or download a reviewed file for a manual client handoff. Check the audience before distributing evidence links or media copies.
Preserve ownership after the engagement
Record which items were accepted, who owns the next step, and what remains untested in your normal handover documentation. Verify repaired states where the engagement includes that work. Retick does not establish contractual completion, guarantee client adoption, or transfer responsibility automatically. Use the review evidence as supporting material, not as a substitute for your agreed delivery and acceptance process.
