Careful subscription-state review
Make cancellation feedback explicit about what the user is told
Keep approved cancellation policy, visible confirmation, and actual billing behavior distinguishable during review.

Clearer cancellation communication
Policy-aware wording
Have the right owners confirm the effective date and access explanation before a UI change is approved.
Safe test scenarios
Review permitted test accounts instead of altering real subscriptions or exposing payment details for evidence.
Separate billing verification
Check provider records and entitlements directly rather than inferring cancellation correctness from a captured message.
Confirm the cancellation model first
A subscription action may cancel immediately, schedule cancellation at period end, or require another confirmation. Ask the product and billing owners which model applies before reviewing the wording. Use a permitted test account rather than changing a real customer's subscription for a recording. Do not expose billing records or payment information in the captured media.
Show the visible decision path
Capture the starting subscription state, cancellation action, confirmation, and resulting screen. Analyze the supported recording in Retick and inspect each candidate finding. A message that appears to promise immediate loss of access may be a copy problem rather than proof that access was removed. Add the tested build and account context manually, and verify billing or entitlement changes separately.
Approve the exact communication outcome
A useful issue might require the confirmation to identify the effective date and explain which access remains available. Have the responsible owners approve the wording; generated language is not a billing policy or legal opinion. Keep a request for a new retention offer separate from the correction. Review the selected issue before a Trello export or file-based handoff.
Verify implementation and policy independently
Repeat the test scenario after a change and inspect the accepted message and next action. Use your billing tests and provider records to check actual cancellation and entitlement behavior. Retick does not execute subscription changes, certify consumer-law compliance, or guarantee reduced churn. It supports review of supplied media, while billing correctness, policy approval, and functional acceptance remain independent responsibilities.
Review the cancellation message in its real context
Capture the permitted test state and confirm the policy.
