Screenshot+ Retick

Turn a reviewed UI screenshot into a Trello card

Give a visual bug report an understandable description before it enters your board.

An image needs a clear task

A screenshot of an overlapping checkout label identifies a visible problem, but it rarely explains the account state, viewport, or actions that produced it. Retick helps analyze the screenshot and prepare candidate findings. A reviewer checks the evidence and adds the missing context before creating a Trello card. An image is a reference, not a complete reproduction or technical diagnosis.

From screenshot to selected Trello export

1

Capture an identifiable state

Upload a supported screenshot or capture the browser interface with the extension. Include the affected control and enough surrounding UI to locate it. Use safe test data instead of real delivery addresses. Record the viewport, build, and account role yourself; a static image cannot reliably establish all of those conditions.

2

Review the proposed finding

Compare the description with the image. A clipped label is different from a broken payment submission, which a still image cannot demonstrate. Correct speculative wording and add the expected layout. Write acceptance criteria that explain which text must remain readable and which controls must remain usable under the reported conditions.

3

Connect and select a destination

From the review's export flow, choose Trello. Connect using your Trello API key and user token with the required access, then select an available board and list. Use an account authorized for that destination. This is a selected export from a review, not automatic monitoring of every screenshot or cycle-wide Trello synchronization.

4

Check the resulting card

Preview the issue and export the approved selection. Open the resulting card to inspect the description and evidence links. Those links grant access to review media, so check the board audience before distribution. Handle assignment and scheduling through your normal board process, and repeat the reported scenario after development to confirm the fix.

Evidence with a deliberate handoff

Context beside the image

Keep the affected element and intended result understandable without asking the reader to infer the entire report from an attachment.

An explicit destination

Choose a board and list you can access instead of assuming that a workspace name identifies the right place for engineering work.

Human-reviewed scope

Send only findings your reviewer accepts. A generated description is a draft, not proof that a defect has been reproduced or prioritized.

Screenshot export questions

Does a screenshot supply reproduction steps?▼

No. Add the navigation, input, and setup manually. Use a recording when the sequence is essential to the report.

Do I need a Trello connection?▼

Yes. You need valid credentials and access to the chosen board and list. Export can fail if permissions or the destination change.

Does this keep every card synchronized?▼

This page describes creating selected cards, not two-way status synchronization. Check board state and verify repaired UI behavior separately.
