Prepare Trello cards from a recorded UI walkthrough
Preserve the sequence behind a UI problem while giving your board a focused unit of work.
A recording needs an acceptance boundary
A filter that resets after navigation is difficult to explain with a single screenshot. A recording preserves the action and resulting state, but someone still needs to distinguish the real defect from incidental activity. Retick analyzes supplied media to propose findings. The reviewer checks the sequence, clarifies intended behavior, and chooses which findings should become Trello cards.
Review the sequence before creating cards
Record the relevant journey
Capture the browser interaction with the extension or upload an authorized recording. Start with the selected filter visible, show the navigation action, and leave the resulting state on screen. State the build and role in review context. Keep unrelated tabs and private records out of the media; recording a symptom does not establish its implementation cause.
Check what actually happened
Inspect the proposed issue against the original recording. Confirm that the value changed after navigation rather than after an explicit clear action. Add missing reproduction details manually. Have product confirm whether filter persistence is intended. Separate that decision from a preference about the filter's appearance, which may need a different acceptance boundary.
Export the approved selection
Choose Trello in the individual review's export flow, connect an authorized account, and select an accessible board and list. Preview the issue wording before creating cards. Trello export is not offered for cycle-wide exports or public share exports in this flow. Review destination access before distributing cards containing evidence links to the supplied media.
Repeat the journey after a change
Open a created card and confirm the steps and expected result are clear. After implementation, select the same filter and repeat the navigation on the updated build. Check completion manually rather than equating a card's list position with verified behavior. Use your testing tools for automated execution and additional browser coverage outside this media-review workflow.
Focused work from captured behavior
Understandable transitions
Describe the triggering action and visible result instead of leaving an engineer to reconstruct a long recording without direction.
Less speculative wording
Report a reset or missing status honestly without turning a visible symptom into an unverified cache, network, or database diagnosis.
A repeatable check
Use the reviewed scenario as a manual acceptance target while keeping regression automation and compatibility testing separate.
Recording export questions
Does Retick import any video-service URL?▼
Use the supported upload or browser capture workflow. This page does not promise direct imports from third-party recording services.
Does a recording prove a server failure?▼
No. It shows visible behavior. Collect network traces or logs independently when a technical diagnosis requires them.
Will the whole review cycle export to Trello?▼
Use selected findings from an individual review. The current export control does not offer cycle-wide Trello export.
