Review of seller listing journeys
Make seller listing feedback clear about the publishing state
Keep seller-facing status language aligned with a confirmed publication model and an understandable next step.

Clearer publishing-state conversations
State-aware feedback
Distinguish a confusing pending message from an actual failure to save or publish the listing.
Approved seller guidance
Have the product owner confirm the intended status and next action before wording becomes implementation work.
Separate policy verification
Check moderation and buyer visibility independently instead of treating a captured status badge as proof.
Distinguish draft, submitted, and visible states
A seller may interpret a saved listing as a published listing even when moderation is still required. Before review, confirm the intended state model with the product owner. Use a permitted test listing and safe images. The goal is to examine what the interface communicates, not to assume that a visible badge proves a listing has passed marketplace policies or become discoverable to buyers.
Capture the relevant listing journey
Record draft editing, validation, the submit action, and the resulting status. Bring the supported media into Retick and check each proposed finding. A confusing pending message differs from a verified publication failure. Add the seller role, environment, and relevant conditions manually, and collect backend state evidence separately when the issue depends on what was stored or published.
Specify the seller's next understandable action
A focused issue might require the confirmation to say that submission is awaiting review and explain whether editing remains available. Have product approve the wording and behavior. Keep a new request for moderation notifications outside that UI correction. Review selected findings before a Trello export or a downloaded-file handoff to your implementation process.
Verify transitions after a change
Repeat the permitted test journey and inspect the relevant draft, pending, and rejected states your product supports. Check actual publication and policy enforcement with the appropriate operational tools. Retick does not moderate listings, certify marketplace compliance, validate buyer visibility, or guarantee seller success. Media review can clarify the seller experience while the marketplace team remains responsible for its policies and state transitions.
