Content review in the implemented interface
Review error copy beside the action it needs to explain
Keep error wording, validation context, and an approved recovery outcome together in the review.

Clearer error-message handoffs
Contextual copy review
Evaluate the message beside the field and action rather than reviewing isolated strings without their UI state.
Approved language
Have the responsible content owner decide the wording instead of treating a generated rewrite as final.
Observable recovery
Tie acceptance to what the user can understand and do while testing validation behavior independently.
Start with the recovery question
An error message should help the user understand what happened and what they can do next. Before capture, confirm the validation rule and intended recovery with the product owner. A generic instruction to fix your details may be unclear even when validation works correctly. Keep a wording concern separate from a claim that the underlying rule is wrong.
Capture the message in context
Use a screenshot that includes the affected field, message, and next action, or record the transition when the timing matters. Use safe test input rather than real personal information. Review the supported media in Retick and compare the proposed findings with the visible state. Add the relevant build and input conditions manually, and correct speculative explanations about why validation failed.
Approve wording and acceptance together
A useful issue could require a date field to explain the accepted format and preserve the user's other valid entries. Have the content owner approve the exact text and product confirm the behavior. Check whether the wording fits the supported layout. Review selected findings before a Trello export or downloaded-file handoff; a generated rewrite is a suggestion, not approved content.
Check the repaired experience directly
Repeat the invalid-input scenario after implementation and inspect both the displayed text and available recovery. Use additional research when you need evidence of comprehension. Retick does not validate every business rule, certify plain-language quality, or prove that users understand a message. Media review helps locate the content concern while approval, interaction testing, and research remain with the appropriate people.
Bring the error message into its real context
Capture the field, instruction, and next action.
