Evidence-led checkout review

Make checkout feedback specific about the visible failure

Give checkout issues an identifiable state, safe evidence, and a recovery outcome someone can test.

Clearer checkout correction tasks

Safer review material

Use authorized test flows and synthetic information instead of exposing real customer or payment details.

State-specific reports

Distinguish a confusing interface from a payment-provider failure that needs separate investigation.

Practical acceptance checks

Agree on readable messages and usable recovery without presenting the review as measured revenue evidence.

Review the customer action, not a revenue assumption

A checkout concern should identify the point where the user becomes blocked or uncertain. Choose a bounded state such as invalid delivery details or a declined test payment. Use your authorized test environment and synthetic information. Do not record real payment credentials or customer addresses, and do not infer a conversion loss from one captured session.

Show the error and available recovery

Capture the relevant sequence with a recording, or use a screenshot for a static overlap. Review the proposed findings in Retick. A clipped payment message demonstrates a presentation concern, not the reason a provider declined a transaction. Check which field, message, and action are visible, then add the build, viewport, and test conditions manually. Confirm backend payment behavior using your own tools.

Define an observable correction

For an error that hides the retry action, acceptance criteria might require the full message to remain readable and the user to correct input without losing unrelated form values. Have product approve the intended recovery. Keep a request for a new payment method separate from the UI repair. Export selected reviewed findings to Trello or download a file for the implementation team.

Repeat the repaired scenario safely

Run the same authorized test case on the updated build and inspect both the visible result and the separate payment evidence your process requires. Retick does not execute checkout transactions, certify payment compliance, verify provider configuration, or guarantee sales improvements. Use dedicated functional, security, and payment testing while keeping media analysis grounded in the visible checkout experience.
