Customer context with clear commitments
Turn customer-success observations into a careful UI handoff
Keep the customer goal, evidence permissions, and delivery commitments distinguishable during escalation.

A more useful escalation record
Goal-aware escalation
Describe what the customer was trying to achieve before deciding whether the concern is a defect or a request.
Permitted evidence
Use safe reproduction or approved media rather than passing unnecessary customer information into a public-facing workflow.
Careful follow-up
Keep issue investigation separate from promised fixes, timelines, and broader claims about account impact.
Preserve the customer's actual goal
A customer who cannot find an export action may need clearer navigation, a permission explanation, or a capability the product does not offer. Start with the task they were trying to complete. Do not translate frustration directly into an approved feature request or promise a repair before product and engineering have assessed the situation. Keep any commercial commitment in your normal account process.
Capture permitted evidence
Recreate the relevant state in a safe test account where possible. If customer media is necessary, obtain the appropriate permission and remove sensitive information before upload. Bring a supported screenshot or recording into Retick and inspect the candidate findings. Add the account role, build, and intended task manually without exposing customer identifiers that the receiving team does not need.
Ask the receiving team a specific question
For a hidden export action, describe the navigation path and visible control state. Ask product whether the role should have access and whether the current instruction is accurate. A useful acceptance outcome could be an approved explanation and a discoverable next action, not an unsupported claim that the export service is broken. Review chosen findings before a Trello export or file-based handoff.
Follow up without implying delivery
Return the issue reference to your account record manually and explain what remains under investigation. After a change is available, verify the relevant scenario before describing it as fixed. Retick does not ingest your customer-success platform automatically, establish prevalence across accounts, or commit your team to dates. Use the reviewed evidence to improve the conversation while retaining ownership of promises and customer communication.
